WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A U.S. choose on Tuesday declined to recuse herself from presiding over the felony case towards a person who’s dealing with prices for attempting to assassinate former president and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

U.S. District Choose Aileen Cannon, who was appointed by Trump to the bench in 2020, mentioned in her ruling the attorneys for Ryan Wesley Routh didn’t current a legitimate foundation for her to step apart.
